2、利用潜力评价体系，以中国20个城市为地域研究单元，对其进行全面测度和比较；运用主成分分析法，分析因子的贡献率和各因子载荷量，并进一步利用主成分分析的分类功能，根据所提取的主成分因子对评价单元进行潜力水平分类．结果表明，中国城市的土地利用潜力分为3个大类，6个细类，其中，北京、重庆归类为土地潜力利用水平较好；沈阳、武汉、太原、西安、昆明、天津、南京、哈尔滨、长春、大连、郑州、成都、济南、石家庄归类为土地利用潜力水平一般；青岛、杭州、广州、上海归类为土地利用潜力水平较差．关键词：城市土地利用潜力水平；主成分分析法；分类
