2、utalsomakecommunicationmuchmoresimpleandvalid.Suchallusions,however,haveuniquelynationalconnotation,bywhichonewillbepuzzledifheorsheisnotacquaintedwiththeculturalheritageofallusionsboundedwithdifferentgeographicalenvironment,customs,religions,waysofthing,
3、etc.Forthatproblem,thisthesisgoestoacontrastivestudyofChineseallusionsandEnglishoneandaccordinglyhassummarizedthegeneralcharactersanddifferencesinbetween.Allaboveindicatesthatonecultureispairedwith‘one’culturalallusion.AfterthiscomparativeanalysisofEnglis

5、于典故其丰富多彩的来源使它们具有强烈的名族色彩,集中反映了文化民族在地理位置、风俗习惯、宗教信仰、思维方式等的不同,也就是说这些根植于特有文化的典故容易对那些非同一文化的读者来产生理解的困惑以及语用的错误。针对这种问题,本文通过对中英民族的典故进行比较分析,总结英汉典故之间存在的共性和差异,从而来表现不同文化背景对典故的影响,折射出中英文化的差异,以促进读者能够通过这篇文章对中英典故的内涵与差异有着一定的了解。【关键词】中英典故;比较分析;语用分析;文化内涵1.BriefIntroduction1.1De
