5、ndremained18lowfor~6ka.FourpositiveyOeventscenteredat11225F97yrBP(1.05x),10880F117yrBP(1.15x),9165F75yrBP(1.4x),andadoubleeventcenteredat8260F64yrBP(1.1x)and8080F74yrBP(1.0x)punctuatedthisperiodofhighmonsoonintensity.AllfoureventscorrelatewithinerrorwithclimatechangesinGreenlandicecores.Thus,there
6、lationshipbetweentheAsianmonsoonandtheNorthAtlanticobservedduringtheglacialperiodappearstocontinueintotheearlyHolocene.Inaddition,threeofthefoureventscorrelatewithinerrorwithoutbursteventsfromLakeAgassiz.Thedeclineof18monsoonintensityinthemid-lateHoloceneischaracterizedbyanabruptpositiveshiftinyOw
