2、TIONSANDINTERPRETATIONS1.1IntheseConditions,thefollowingwordsandexpressionshavethefollowingmeaningsunlessthecontextotherwiserequires:“AncillaryServices”includesservicesofarrangingforthestorage,warehousing,collection,delivery,localtransportation,insurance,customsclearance,packing,unpackingan
3、dotherhandlingofgoodsandotherservicesrelatingorancillarytothePrincipalServices.“Company”means[(nameofthecompany)],amemberoftheHongkongAssociationofFreightForwardingAgentsLimitedtradingundertheseConditions.“Conditions”meanstheentireundertakings,terms,conditionsandclausesembodiedhereinandincl
4、udestheCompany’stermsandcondi-tionsprintedonthefrontoftheShippers’InstructionsandoftheCompany’sformoftransportdocument(includingtheCompany’shouseairwaybillorhousebilloflading).“Customer”meansanypersonatwhoserequestoronwhosebehalftheCompanyundertakesanybusiness,orprovidesadvice,informa-tiono
5、rservices,andincludesthepartynamedas“shipper”or“consignor”onthefrontoftheShippers’InstructionsandoftheCompany’sformoftransportdocument(includingtheCompany’shouseairwaybillorhousebilloflading).“FIATA”meanstheInternationalFederationofFreightForwardersAssociations.“FIATAAirWaybill”meanstheform
6、ofneutralairwaybilltogetherwiththeconditionsgoverningsuchairwaybill(1996)publishedbyFIATAandrecommendedbyFIATAforusebyforwarderswhochoosetoactinthecapacityofa(contracting)carrier.“FIATAMultimodalTransportBillofLading”meanstheFIATAformofmultimodaltransportbillofladingtogetherwiththestandardc
7、onditionsgoverningsuchbilloflading(1992)forusebyforwarderswhochoosetoassumeliabilitiesasa(contracting)carrier.“Shippers’Instructions”meansanyoftheCompany’sformorformsofshippinginstruc-tionsororderscontainingtheCustomer’sinstructionstotheCompany.“HagueRul
