6、ellingtherelationshipbetweencarbondioxide(CO2)emissionsandGDPpercapita.ThemainreasonforstudyingCO2emissionsisthattheyplayafocalroleinthecurrentdebateonenvironmentalprotectionandsustainabledevelopment.CO2hasbeenrecognizedbymostscientistsasamajorsourceofglobalwarmingthroughitsgreen

7、houseeffects.AnotherreasonisthatCO2emissionsaredirectlyrelatedtotheuseofenergy,whichisanessentialfactorintheworldeconomy,bothforproductionandconsumption.Therefore,therelationshipbetweenCO2emissionsandeconomicgrowthhasimportantimplicationsforenvironmentalandeconomicpolicies.Toesti
