5、.UsingmaterialfromarangeofMWWtreatmentplants,theIntroductionperformanceofscreenedandsettledMWW,activatedsludgeswithmixedliquorsuspendedsolids(MLSS)con-Acidminedrainage(AMD)generatedduringtheoxidationcentrationsof2.0and4.0g/L,andreturnactivatedsludgesofmineralsu

6、rfacesexposedduringmineralextractionwith6.0and7.4g/LMLSSwerecompared.Similartrendsleadstothereleaseofdissolvedmetals,sulfate,andwereobservedfortheMWWandactivatedsludges,withhydrogenions(StummandMorgan1981)intooverlyingorremovalefficiencygenerallydecreasingintheo
