3、canFreeTradeAgreement(NAFTA)aresimplysomeofthemoreobviousexamples.[Para2]Thesecondisthattheyinvolvenationsinasortofcustomsunion,whichtendstolowerand/orremovetradebarriersamongmembersoftheorganizationwhilemaintaining,atasomewhathigherlevel,traderestrictionsforproductsandserv
4、icesfromoutsideoftheregionaltradeassociation.[Para3]Afew,suchastheEU,havepoliticalambitionsofunitingthemembercountriesintoapoliticalunion.TheEU’sheadquartersislocatedinBrussels,andoneoftheproblemsthatithasovertheyearshasbeenthestruggleoversovereigntyamongthecountriesmakingu
5、ptheunionandthecentralizedgovernmentinBrussels.[Para4]OneofthemostrecentlydevelopedtradeorganizationsistheNorthAmericanFreeTradeAgreement(NAFTA),whichisatradingagreementbetweentheUnitedStates,Canada,andMexico.NAFTAwasbuiltonanagreementthatwasinforceforseveralyearsbetweenthe
6、UnitedStatesandCanada.Thisagreementessentiallyremovedthevastmajorityoftradebarriersbetweenthesetwocountries.NAFTAincludedMexicointothedeal.ThiswasnotaccomplishedwithoutgreatpoliticalstruggleintheUnitedStatesorwithoutsecondthoughts,especiallyafterthecrashoftheMexicaneconomys
