3、isarelativelynewapproachemployedtodecreasesynthesistimeandformamorehomogenousstructureinbiphasiccalciumphosphatebioceramics.Inthisstudy,nanocrystallineHA/b-TCPcompositeswerepreparedbymicrowaveassistedsynthesismethodand,forcomparisonreason,byconventionalwe
4、tchemicalmethods.Thechemicalandphasecomposition,morphologyandparticlesizeofpowderswerecharacterizedbyFTIR,XRDandSEM,respectively.Theuseofmicrowaveirradiationresultedinimprovedcrystallinity.TheamountofhydroxyapatitephaseinBCPrangedfrom5%to17%.Theassessment
5、ofbioactivitywasdonebysoakingofpowdercompactsinsimulatedbodyfluid(SBF).ThedecreasingpHofthesolutioninthepresenceofb-TCPindicateditsbiodegradablebehavior.Rod-likehydroxyapatiteparticleswerenewlyformedduringthetreatmentinSBFformicrowaveassistedsubstratesynth
