4、e2.55In0.45O4(S2),suchasFe3O4+γ-Fe2O3(S3)wereobtainedbyballmilling.TEMmicrographaswellasXRPDlinebroadeninganalysesshownanosizenatureoftheferritepowders.Cationdistribution,foundbyRietveldrefinementofthesiteoccupancies,indicateY3+ionspresenceat16dsitesinFe2.85Y0.15O4,andarandomIn3+ionsdistributiono
5、nboth8aand16dsitesinFe2.55In0.45O4(spacegroupFd3¯m).FromtheXRPDlinebroadeninganalysiscrystallitesizeandstrainvaluesweredetermined.Thecrystallitesizeandstrainanisotropyissignificant,especiallyforFe2.85Y0.15O4andFe2.55In0.45O4.Thisresultisdiscussedregardingtheinfluenceofthecationsubstitutions.TheRam
