2、finethegeneralaspectsofthemodelanddetailedinformationontheelementsthatmakeupthesystem.ThissectiondescribeshowtotaketheinformationgatheredintheprevioussectionanduseittocreateanINPREPfile.ThissectionalsodescribeshowtorunthecompletedINPREPfilethroughPREPRandho

3、wtocorrectsomecommonmistakes.Formoredetails,seetheHelpandReference.CreatingthemodelfileTocreatethemodelfile,anystandardtexteditorcanbeused.ForUNIX,programssuchasemacs,VI,andthevariousgraphicaltexteditorsarecommonlyused.ForWindowsmachines,theNotepadorasimila

4、reditormaybeused.Otherprograms,suchasMicrosoft®Wordmaybeused,butthefilesmustbeexportedorsavedasASCIItextfiles.ThefilenamefortheINPREPfilemustendwiththeINPREPsuffix.Somedatarequiremultipleinputlines.Normally,additionalinputlinesstartwithaplus(+)followedbyasp

5、ace.Anotherconventioncommonlyusedisthecharactersequence/*,whichmakestherestofthelineacomment.Defaultinputvaluesareusedbyplacinga*asaplaceholder.ExamplesofthesewillbepresentedinoursampleINPREPfile.RecommendedandrequiredstructureINPREPfilesaredividedintotwoma

6、jorsections:generalandequipment.Thegeneralsectionappearsfirstandcontainsglobalinformationthatappliestothewholemodel,suchastheenvironmentalconditionsandtheequationofstatetouseforfluidpropertycalculations.Theequipmentsectionstartswiththe=EQUIPMENTline.Itconta
