3、mwithinNASA’sScienceMissionDirectorate.TheprogramincludedtheestablishmentoftheanchornodesoftheInternationalLunarNetwork(ILN),anetworkoflunarsciencestationsenvisionedtobeemplacedbymultiplenations.Thispaperde-scribesthecurrentstatusoftheILNAnchorNodesmissiondevelopmentandthelanderrisk-reducti

4、ondesignandtestactivitiesimplementedjointlybyNASA’sMarshallSpaceFlightCenterandTheJohnsHopkinsUniversityAp-pliedPhysicsLaboratory.Thelunarlanderconceptsdevelopedbythisteamareapplicabletomultiplesciencemis-sions,andthispaperwilldescribeamissioncombiningthefunctionalityofanILNnodewithaninvest

5、igationoflunarpolarvolatiles.includingtwopayloadsonIndia’sChandrayaan-1;theINTRODUCTION:NASAROBOTICLUNARLunarReconnaissanceOrbiter(LRO);theLunarCRaterLANDERDEVELOPMENTObservationandSensingSatellite(LCROSS);theGravityOneofthedefiningfeaturesoftheU.S.VisionforRecoveryandInteriorLaboratory(GRA

6、IL);theSpaceExploration,establishedbytheformerAcceleration,Reconnection,TurbulenceandadministrationandstudiedbyNASAforthepast4ElectrodynamicsofMoon’sInteractionwiththeSunyears,isthegoalofahumanreturntotheMoontolive(ARTEMIS)mission;andtheLunarAtmosphereandandworkforextendedperiods.Whethertha
