3、efortuning-parametertolerancesthatarerequiredformaintenanceofstablesingle-frequencyoscillation.Continuousfrequencytuningispossiblethroughthesimultaneousadjustmentoftwoorthreeparameters;thusthesynthesisofspecificfrequencieswithinthebroadtuningrangeofthedoublyreson
4、antopticalparametricoscillatorispermitted.1.INTRODUCTIONaxialmodes.Nevertheless,withimprovedpumpsourcesandnonlinear-opticalmaterialscoupledwithmultiple-Ananalysisofthefrequency-tuningpropertiesofdoublyparametercontrol,DRO'scaninprinciplebeoperatedresonantopticalp
5、arametricoscillators(DRO's),basedonstablyandtunedcontinuously,thuswideningtheirrangebothexperimentalobservationsandtheoreticalmodeling,ofapplications.ispresented.Specificdetailsinthispresentationoffre-DRO'scanprovidehighlycoherentoutput,reproduc-quencycontrolands
6、ynthesisapplytomonolithicDRO'singthestatisticalpropertiesofthepumpwithlittleaddi-constructedfromLiNbO3.Wherepossible,however,re-tionalnoise.ThiswasshowntheoreticallybyGrahamsultsaregivenwithmoregeneralapplicability.Thepur-andHaken9inaquantum-mechanicalanalysisoft
7、heposeisachievementofaquantitativeunderstandingofDRO,anditwasdemonstratedinexperimentalmeasure-theconditionsrequiredforstablesingle-axial-modepara-mentsofthecoherencepropertiesoftheDRO.Themetricoscillationandtheresultingfrequencystabilityquantum-mechanicalanalysi
