4、ition.Additionally,duringthefollow-upinterview,mostparticipantsfrombothtreatmentgroupsnotedthattheyhadusedmusicasacopingskill.Resultsshouldbeinterpretedwithcautionduetoanundersizedsample.Inordertoincreasethenumberofparticipants,thepurposeofthesecondstudywastocompare

5、theeffectsofmusictherapyandpsychoeducationontheproactivecopingskillsofpsychiatricpatientsimmediatelyafterasingletreat-mentsession.Analysisofdescriptivestatisticsindicatedthatparticipantsinthemusictherapyconditiontendedtohaveslightlyhigherproactivecopingskillsscorest
