2、kABSTRACT:DistributedNetworkManagementisgainingimportanceduetotheexplosivegrowthofthesizeofcomputernetworks.Newmanagementparadigmsarebeingproposedasanalternativetothecentralisedone,andnewtechnologiesandprogramminglanguagesaremakingthemfeasible.Theuseof
3、MobileAgents(MAs)todistributeanddelegatemanage-menttasksisaparticularlypromisingapproachtodealingwiththelimitationsofcurrentcen-tralisedmanagementsystemswhichappeartobelackingflexibilityandscalability.Thispaperisfocusedontheimpactthatmobilecodeparadigm
