1、华中科技大学硕士学位论文AbstractAsonenovelkindoffunctionalphotonicdevices,optofluidicdevicessimultaneouslyintegratebothmicrofluidictechniquesandphotonicdeviceswithamicrosystem,andenablethesynergismofliquid-phasematerialsandsolidopticssystem.Optofluidicdevicesgreatlyenhancetunability,reconfigurabilityandint
2、egratedfunctionality,andalsobroadenapplicationareasandresearchpotentials.Theoreticalandexperimentalinvestigationsonsilica-microcapillary-basedoptofluidicdevicesarecarriedout.Maincontentsofthisthesisaresummarizedasfollows:Theresearchbackgroundandsignificanceofoptofluidicsareintroduced,andresearc
3、hhighlightsonoptofluidicdevicesbasedonsilicamicapillariesaresummarized,alongwiththeirinherentstructurefeatures,schemesandapplications.Boththeoreticalandexperimentalstudyareperformedtoinvestigatethestructuralfeaturesandopticalpropertiesofringresonatorsbasedonsilicamicrocapillaries.Anall-opticalt
4、unableoptofluidicringresonatorisproposed,anddetailedoperationschemeandfabricationareintroduced.Thisall-opticalcontrollabledeviceachievesalargetuningrangeofupto3.3nm,aswellasagoodsensitivityof0.15nm/mW,takingadvantagesofthephotothermaleffectofmagneticfluid,andopticspropertiesoftheresonatorscheme
5、.Anoptofluidicpolarizationbeamsplitterbasedonamicrocapillaryispresented.Basedontheanalysisandstudyofthepolarization-dependentcharacteristicofthewhisperinggallerymodeswithinamicrotuberesonator,microfibersareadoptedtorealizeanadd-dropringresonator.Thissplitterisabletoseparatetwoorthogonalpolariza
