1、华中科技大学硕士学位论文AbstractAsonenovelkindoffunctionalphotonicdevices,optofluidicdevicessimultaneouslyintegratebothmicrofluidictechniquesandphotonicdeviceswithamicrosystem,andenablethesynergismofliquid-phasematerialsandsolidopticssystem.Optofluidicdevicesgreatlyenhancetunability,reconfigurabilit
2、yandintegratedfunctionality,andalsobroadenapplicationareasandresearchpotentials.Theoreticalandexperimentalinvestigationsonsilica-microcapillary-basedoptofluidicdevicesarecarriedout.Maincontentsofthisthesisaresummarizedasfollows:Theresearchbackgroundandsignificanceofoptofluidicsareintrodu
3、ced,andresearchhighlightsonoptofluidicdevicesbasedonsilicamicapillariesaresummarized,alongwiththeirinherentstructurefeatures,schemesandapplications.Boththeoreticalandexperimentalstudyareperformedtoinvestigatethestructuralfeaturesandopticalpropertiesofringresonatorsbasedonsilicamicrocapil
4、laries.Anall-opticaltunableoptofluidicringresonatorisproposed,anddetailedoperationschemeandfabricationareintroduced.Thisall-opticalcontrollabledeviceachievesalargetuningrangeofupto3.3nm,aswellasagoodsensitivityof0.15nm/mW,takingadvantagesofthephotothermaleffectofmagneticfluid,andopticspr
5、opertiesoftheresonatorscheme.Anoptofluidicpolarizationbeamsplitterbasedonamicrocapillaryispresented.Basedontheanalysisandstudyofthepolarization-dependentcharacteristicofthewhisperinggallerymodeswithinamicrotuberesonator,microfibersareadoptedtorealizeanadd-dropringresonator.Thissplitteris
