2、otherinsidetheShepeoplewithtwolanguages:morethan1,200peoplecalled“Huonie”livinginthefollowingfourcounties,Huidong,HaifengofLuofumountainareaandBoluoandZengchengofLianhuamountainareainGuangdongprovincespeakalanguageofMiao-Yaofamily,whicharecalledbyscholarsthe“Shelanguage”.Andthe
3、rest99%oftheShepeopleincludingthoseinChao’an,speakanotherlanguage,whichiscalledthe“Shedialect”,inordernottoconfusewiththeShelanguage.AndinthispaperwecallbothofthemtheShelanguage.TheChao’anShelanguagementionedinthispaperreferstothelanguagespokenbytheShepeoplelivinginChao’anCount
4、yinChaozhou.TheChao’anShelanguagedistributesmainlyinthefollowingvillagesofChao’aninGuangdong:ShigupingvillageinFenghuangtown,WanyaoandShanlivillageinGuihu,andLigongkengvillageinWenci.AndthispaperfocusesonthelexiconofChao’anShelanguage.ThroughcomparisonbetweentheShelanguageandth
5、eMin,KeandGandialectsandtheminoritylanguagesaroundit,theauthorendeavorstoinvestigatetheusingactualityofthelanguage,andanalyzethelawsoflanguagecontactandlanguagevariationinthedevelopment,tryingtomakeanobjectiveidentificationandconclusionofthelanguagecategory.Therearefourpartsint
