4、hemethaneemissionfromcoalmininginChinareached20billionsofcubicmetersin2008,mostofAvailableonline21August2010whichcomesfromstate-ownedcoalmineswithhigh-gascontent.ChinareleasessixtimesasmuchofmethanefromcoalminesascomparedtotheUnitedStates.However,Chin
5、esemethaneemissionfromKeywords:coalproductionaccountsforonlyaverysmallproportionontheenvironmentalimpactwhencom-Coalminemethaneparedtoemissionsofcarbondioxidefromfossilfuelconsumption.TheChinesegovernmenthasshownMethaneemissionChinaenvironmentalawaren
6、essandresolutiononthemitigationandutilizationofcoalminemethaneemis-Greenhousegassions.MeasureshavebeentakentoimplementtheprogramsofmitigationandutilizationofcoalmineGlobalclimatechangemethane,andatthesametime,toensureminingsafety.Nearly7.2billionsofcu
7、bicmetersofmethaneweredrainedfromthecoalmines,and32%ofitwasutilizedin2008.Theslowadvancementoftech-nologiesforthedrainageandutilizationoflow-concentrationmethanefromventilationairhinderstheprogressofmitigationofatmosphericmethaneandtheutilizationofcoa
