2、serprovidegoodtradeoffsbetweenthosetwoconflictinggoals,schedulinginahybridwirelineandwirelessnetwork,wherethenamelyefficiencyandfairness.Thisproblemisfurthercom-airinterfaceofwirelesslinksisbasedonorthogonalfrequencyplicatedbytheuniquecharacteristicofthewirelesschannel,di
3、visionmultiplexing(OFDM).Forstaticchannels,weformulatewhichentailsfadingeffects.thiscross-layerdesignasanetworkutilitymaximization(NUM)problemwithbothwirelineandwirelesslinkconstraints.TheTheissueofmultiuserschedulingandresourceallocationconvexityoftheproblemenablesawel
4、l-establisheddual-basedforwirelessnetworkshasbeenstudiedextensivelyinthepast,approachtodecomposeitintotwosubproblems,thetransportbutmostworksfocusonwirelesslinksonly;forexample,seelayersourcerateadaptationandthemediumaccesscontrol[29],[17],[31],[8],[26]andreferencesther
5、ein.However,a(MAC)layermultiuserOFDMscheduling,whichareconnectedwirelessnetworkistypicallyconnectedtotheInternetthroughandcoordinatedbylinkprices.Whiletherateandlinkpriceadjustmentsfollowthesamefashionastheconventionalutility-abasestation(BS)oranaccesspoint(AP).Awireles
6、suserbasedcongestioncontrolforwirelinenetworks,thekeydifferenceinacellmayinitiateaTCP(transmissioncontrolprotocol)isthemultiuserOFDMschedulingperformedatthewirelessconnectionwithafixedhost(FH)inthewirelinenetworkaccesspoint(AP).Independentfromspecificutilitiesusedbyeachth
7、roughtheAP,orwithanotheruserinadifferentwirelesssource,thisschedulingproblemalwaysmaximizesawirelesslink-cellwhichisalsoconnectedtothewirelinebackbone.Fromprice-weightedsumthroughput(LPWST),whichcanbesolvedefficientlybyablock-coordinatedescentmethod,resultinginthepointvi
