4、alizedmethodstosupportidentificationanddesignofcomponentswithhighreusability.Thispapertriestosolvethisproblemwithfeaturespaceasatool.Theoryoffeatureandfeaturespaceisfirstlyintroduced,andbyanalysisofdependenciesbetweenfeatures’variability,theconceptoffeaturedependency(FD)andfourtypesofFDsareela
5、borated.Thenacomponentspecificationmodelbasedonfeaturespaceispresented,inwhichcomponentreusabilityisexpressedbyfeature’s‘type-value’variationmechanismandfeaturedependencies.Afterthat,goalsofcomponentdesignandseveralreusabilitymetricsarebrieflydiscussed,andfourcomponentnormalformsandthecorrespo
6、ndingnormalizationalgorithmsbasedonfeaturespacedecompositionarepresentedindetail.Apracticalcaseisfinallyshowntovalidatethemethods.Thenormalformsandnormalizeddesignmethodsrealizethemulti-grainedandmulti-formcomponents’co-existenceandthelooselycomposition-basedcouplingbetweencomponents,whichresu
