4、eshaveopenedanewwindowontothelarge-scalecircuitmechanismsunderlyingsensorimotordecision-makingandtop-downattention.Weproposethatfrequency-specificneuronalcorrelationsinlarge-scalecorticalnetworksmaybe‘fingerprints’ofcanonicalneuronalcomputationsunderlyingcognitiveproces

5、ses.Cognitiveprocessingishighlyselective,integrativeandinteractionbetweenneuronalpopulationslocatedinSpectralanalysisAgeneraltermforanalysisflexible.Thisisachievedthroughthetransientforma-widelyseparatedcorticalareas.Second,bothhavebeentionoflarge‘coalitionsofneurons’1,

6、whicharewidelythefocusofseveralrecentstudieslinkinginteractionstechniques(forexample,Fouriertransformorwavelettransform)distributedacrossmanybrainareas,exchangesignalsinbetweenbrainareastocognition.Thesestudiesshowedthatdecomposetimedomainaspecificmannerandcompetewithea
