2、ells.Itisintendedforpostgraduatestudents,post-doctoralworkersorestablishedscientistswishingtoapplythesetechniquesintheirresearch.Thefollowingcoretechniquesareofferedas3-dayexperiments:·Twoelectrodevoltageclamp·Patchclamp–singlechannel,wholecell,slicerecording·Singleelectrodevoltage-c
3、lamp·Dyeinjection·Ion-selectivemicroelectrodes·FluorescentindicatorsInadditiontherearelecturesandpracticalsin:Electronics,microscopy,dataanalysisandcomputing,bilayerrecording,flashphotolysis,amperometryandcapacitancemeasurements,multi-electrodearrays,interfacechamber’blind’recording,
4、invivopatchclamprecording.Thereare20places.Dailylecturesaregivenbyteachersandvisitinglecturerstocoverthebasictechniquesandspecialisedtopics.AcopyofthePlymouthMicroelectrodeHandbookwillbeprovided.Accommodation(for14nights-arrive&departonWednesday)isclosetothelaboratoryandincludesbreak
