5、ckgroundandrationaleofthework;astatementofthemainconclusions(introducedbythephrase'Hereweshow'oritsequivalent);and2-3sentencesputtingthemainfindingsintogeneralcontextsoitisclearhowtheresultsdescribedhavemovedthefieldforwards.Articlesaretypically3,000wordsoftext(
6、notincludingMethods,summaryorothersections),beginningwithupto500wordsofreferencedtextexpandingonthebackgroundtothework,beforeproceedingtoaconcise,focusedaccountofthefindings,endingwithoneortwoshortparagraphsofdiscussion.Thetextmaycontainsubheadings(lessthansixin
