1、TheRevelationofEnglishVocabularyTeachingBasedonCognitiveMetaphor隐喻认知对英语词汇教学的启示金爽英语071班2007081009摘要对隐喻的研究由来已久，自1980年Lakoff和Johnson的合著《我们赖以生存的隐喻》发表以来，隐喻研究引起了国内外众多学者的关注与兴趣。传统隐喻观认为，隐喻是一种语言现象,仅仅是文学作品中的修辞手法。Lakoff和Johnson提出，隐喻本质上是人类的一种思维方式，日常生活中无处不在，它存在于语言中，更根植于人的思维和行动中。隐喻实质上是人类运用某一领域的经验去理解和体验另一领域的经验的

2、认知活动。语言是人类认知的工具，因此，从认识的角度研究隐喻对外语学习是非常有益的。词汇教学作为英语教学的一个重要方面，它的教学效果直接影响着外语教学的质量。然而受到传统教学方法的影响，大多较注重词的音、形、义以及探讨记忆单词的技巧和方法，而对词汇教学的根本问题，即词义的理解问题有所忽视。外语词汇教学中仍存在以下问题：学习者词汇记忆不系统，学习者在学习过程中忽略词义之间天然的语义联系，学习者对词汇意义及词义变化和对含有多个义项的词理解不透彻等问题。在分析了目前国内外隐喻理论及英语词汇教学现状后，本文对隐喻及词汇教学的关系，即隐喻如何有助于词汇教学进行了研究。研究发现，隐喻作为一种认知方式
