3、ctionwasthenproposedtosupportL’scorporationstrategy.Secondly,basedonanalyticresultsofValueStreamMapping,valueaddedtimeandnon-valueaddedtime(NVAT)inprocesses,5WandfishbonechartwereusedtofindtherootcausesofNVAT.Tosolvetheproblemofnon-matchmaterials,highWIPa
4、ndinventory,productionplanningwasimprovedforbalancingJITproduction.Processutilizationchartwasappliedtoidentifytheprocessbottleneck.Productionresourcewasreassignedtoremovethelimitationfrombottleneck.ThisthesisappliedABCclassificationtoanalyzedemandofeachva
5、riety,andthendesignedmainproductionplanmode.Inventoryand“maketoorder”strategieswereadoptedtorespondtherequirement.Basedonequipmentandworkerutilizationrates,jobassignmentandproductionschedulingandsequencingwereproposedtoimprovematerialmatchingrate.Processf
6、lowchartwasusedtobalanceproductionlineandremovewastes.Processlayoutwasfurtherimprovedtoreducetransportationdistances.Foronepieceflowproduction,otherleantoolsincluding5S,visualmanagementandKanban,wereappliedtoimproveproductionlines.Combiningstatisticaldata
7、ineachprocedure,SPCwassuccessfullyappliedinsmallbatchassemblyforimprovingproductionquality.Finally,inventoryoptimizationmodelforrevenuemaximizationwasalsoproposed.Basedonsalesdataofeachvariety,forkliftsweresortedinto3typesandstockedbyMTS,ATOandMTOmodesres
