4、researchisintendedtoconductananalysisofdiplomaticspeechesbasedonAppraisalTheory,exploringhowspeakersachievediplomaticaimsthroughappraisalresources．AppraisalTheorywasfirstputforwardbyMartinintheearly1990s．AccordingtoMartiIl(2003)，appraisalisconcernedwitheva
