3、roofstructure,roofstructurelightweightdesignwasresearched.(1)Theroofcrushfiniteelementmodelaminibuswasestablishedbyusingthepre-processingsoftwareHyperMeshandtheprocessofbuildingfiniteelementmodelwaselaborated.ForthestandardFMVSS216adoesnotprovideforbilateralroofcrushloadingorder,theroofcrushchar

4、acteristicswasanalyzedbyusingtwodifferentloadingmethods,theleftloadingfirstandrightloadingfirst.Theresultsshowthatthemaximumforceofroofcrushareeffectedbyloadingorder.InterInsofthisCar,thedeformationofthefirstloadingsideoftheroofreinforcestheroofcrushresistanceoftheothersideoftheroof.(2)Aassessme

5、ntmethodofbilateralroofrushresistancewasproposed.Theminimumvalueamongthemaximumroofcrushforceobtainedbytwodifferentloadingmethodsisselectedasabasisforassessingtheroofrushresistance.Iftheminimumvalueamongthemaximumroofcrushforceobtainedbytwodifferentloadingmethodsisnotlessthanthreetimesofunloaded
