2、yhasmanyproblemslikelowefficiencyandhighnon—performingloanratio．SoitisofgreatsignificancetoexploretheimpactofforeignbanksentryonChinesebankingindustry．Inreferencetothepreviousscholarsresearchresults，thispaperselectstheoperatingdataof14Chinesecommercialbanksfrom2003to2014asthesample．Firstly，

3、byusingdataenvelopmentanalysismodel，wewillgetthebankscombinedefficiencyinrepresentoftheoverallefficiencyofChinesebankingindustry．Secondly，themultipleregressionmodelswillbebuilttoanalyzeseparatelytherelationshipbetweenforeignbanksentryandthecombinedefficiency,andtherelationshipbetweenforeign

4、banksandtheother5financialindexesofthebanks．Obviously,thecombinedefficiencyandthe5financialindexesaredependentvariables．Astheindependentvariable，theforeignbanksentryisrepresentedbytheproportionbetweenforeignbankassetsandChinesebankingindustryassets．Asthecontrolvariables，‘macro—economicandba

5、nkingsectorfactorsaretakenintocarefulconsiderations．Theregressionresultshowsthatthereexistsanon-significantnegativecorrelationbetweenthecurrentlevelofforeignbanksentryandChinesebankingefficiency．Thepreviouslevelofforeignbanksentryhasasignificantnegativecorrelationwiththecurrentbankingeffici
