5、sibletohavenotonlyaneconomicconceptofinterestbutalsoasociologicalone,and,ifso,whatsuchaconceptwouldbelike.Bywayofananswer,thehistoryofhowsociologistshavetriedtousetheconceptofinterestintheiranalysesistraced,startingwithGustavRatzenhoferinthe1890sandendingw
6、ithPierreBourdieuandJohnMeyertoday.Thisfocusonwhatsociologistshavetosayaboutinterestrepresentsanoveltyastheconventionalhistoriesofthisconceptpassoverthecontributionbysociologistsintotalsilence.Thevariousattemptsbysociologiststousetheconceptofinterestarediv
