5、preliminarytheoreticalfoundationandGreenextendedtheirwork.Thisthesisuni esthesecomplementary,andsometimescontradictory,theoriesofsyntacticstyle.Ade nitivegrammarofstyle,basedonthisrevisedtheory,isdevelopedandusedtoimplementastylisticanalyzer,Asset.Ther
