3、cationalteachingresourcesisrelativelyweak,comparedwiththe211and985universities,soMOOChasmorepracticalsignificanceonthem.SothisstudyfocusesonMOOClearnersofgeneralcolleges,whatmotivationcanpromptthestudyofMOOClearners?Howdotheyallocatetheirtimeandenergy?Whatabouttheirlearningharves
4、tandlearningexperience?Whatsuccessfullearningexperienceisworthforreference?Allofthosearethatwewanttoknow.Theauthorchooses81MOOClearnersfrommorethan20generalundergraduatecolleges,includingJilinNormalUniversity,ChangshaUniversityofScienceandTechnology,Xi'anSiyuanUniversity,andGuang
5、xiTeachersEducationUniversityandsoon,usingquestionnairesandsemi-structuredinterviewstosurveytheirchoosingcourses,learningmotivation,learningbehavior,thepreferenceofresources’usage,thebarriersoflearning,Learningharvestandthelearningexperienceandsoon.What’smore,analyzingthetwotypic
6、alcasesindetail,anddrawingrelevantconclusions.Intermsofcourseselection,thestudyfoundthatthemajorwaytoknowtheplatformisrecommendedbyothersforthelearnersofthegeneralcolleges.NearlyhalfoftheMOOClearnersattendtwoormorethantwocourses,butafewlearnerscangetacertificate.Therearenotcorrel
