3、egrammaticalizationtheoryasthetheoreticalbasisandtheoreticalperspectivetohaveatheoreticalandsystematicalexplanationofthegrammaticalizationprocessof“you”,andhasageneralconcludingonthecharacteristicsofgrammaticalizationofchinese.InmodernChinese,theusageof“you”haschangedalot,forexample,incas
4、eslike我有吃饭。(woyouchifan.),他有来。(tayoulai.),theusageof“you”istotallydifferentfromitsoriginalusageasapossessiveverbwhichmeanspossessionandexisting.Inthesecases,whichisseenasthe“you+vp”constructionbytheauthor,“you”hasthegrammaticalfunction,andthegrammaticalcategoryitbelongs,themeaningsenseitc
5、onveysbothhavechangedalot.TheotherreasonforchoosingthislanguagephenomenonastheobjectofstudyisthatwhetherinancientChineseorinmodernChinese,“you”playsanimportantroleasahighfrequencyvocabularyandpeopleareveryfamiliarwiththisword,soeventhesmallestchangeaboutthewordwillbecaughtbylanguageresear
6、chersandputthisonthestudyinglevel.Therefore,recently,especiallyafterthewesternlinguistictheoriesarebroughtintoourcountry,manymoreresearcheson“you+vp”constructionbegintoappear.Differentpeoplehavedifferentexplanationsaboutthisphenomenon.However,theirresearchesarepartialtobedescriptive,which
7、arelackofthetheoreticalbasisandtheoreticalanalysis.Basedonthis,especiallyontheplentydescriptionsandstudiesofthislinguisticphenomenonbypreviousscholars,thisthesistriestohaveanall-sidedandsystematicstudyonthequestionofthegrammaticalizationof“you”,usingthegrammaticaliz
