5、stract:Astheskintissue-specificstemcells,epidermalstemcellshavethepotentialityofmulti-directionaldifferentiationandself-duplication.Therefore,epidermalstemcellscouldserveastheseedcellsforskintissue-engineered.However,theregulatorymechanismofdifferentiationandpr
6、oliferationonepidermalstemcellsisunclear.Theresearchonepidermalstemcellshasfocusoncorrelativepathwaysofsignalingtransductionatpresent,suchasMAPK,Wnt,Notch,bonemorphogeneticproteinsignalingpathway.Theexpressionlevelofdifferentiationandproliferationrelatedgeneexc
7、hangethroughactivatingsignalingpathway,whicheventuallyregulatedifferentiationandproliferationofepidermalstemcells.Itisshownthattheinductionandthereinforcementofthetelomerasereversetranscriptaseactivitymayhaveimportantinfluenceonthemaintenanceoftheself-renewalan
8、dproliferationabilityoftheepidermalstemcells.Theresearchonepidermalstemcellhasattractedmoreandmoreinterestsoftheresearchers.Epidermalstemcellsarenowextensivelyappliedinmanye
