2、heirmeanings,culturalconnotationsandtherangeofusagearethesameorsimilar,andsomearedifferent.Ontheonehand,theyarethesameorsimilar,becausehumanbeingshavesomesimilarcapabilitiesofthought,somesamelawsofcognition,andsomeanimalshavethesameimportantroleinthe
3、humanlifeofthesetwonations,andhavethesameattributesandfeatures.Ontheotherhand,becauseofthelongcourseofhistorybetweenthesetwosocialgroups,theyarediscrepantinreligion,history,geographicalenvironmentandcustoms.Thesediscrepanciesmakeanimalwordsdifferenti
4、ntheirculturalconnotationsinthesetwolanguages.Becauseofthesediscrepancies,weshouldconsiderthedifferencesandsimilaritiesoftheculturalconnotationscarriedbyanimalwordswhentranslatinganimalwords.Onlyinthisway,canwetranslatecorrectlytherealmeaningsandthes
