2、ers,suchastrafficdetection,automaticcontrolandcomputersciencetechnologies.Moreover,theTSPcontrolCanalsoimprovepublictransittripcontributionrate,attractmorepassengerstotakebus,astorestraintheincreasingofpassengercars,andrelieveurbantrafficcongestion.Underlimitedroadandtraf
3、ficresourcesituation,TSP,oneofthemostefficienttrafficcontrolmethods,couldimproveregularityandpunctualityofpublictransitservices.ThispaperstudiesshowtogranttheTSPcontrolwithmulti-priorityrequestsfromdifferentbusroutesattheisolatedsignalizedintersection.Theproposedmethodwil
4、lconsiderthebenefitofbuspassengersandpassenger-carusersatthesignalizedintersection.First,thisstudyestimatesbuspassengerwaitingtimeatthenextbusstop,andthencalculatesthetotalpersondelayofentireintersection.Theobjectivefunctionistomimmizethebuspassengerwaitingtimewithoutincr
5、easingthetotalpersondelayattheentireintersection.Finally,aplatformoftrafficsimulationbasedonVISSIM,anunbiasedmicrosimulationtool,isemployedtoevaluatetheperformanceofthedevelopedmodel.Thispapermainlyfocusesontheseaspects:(1)TheexistingTSPcontrolmethodsarereviewedintheSecti
6、on2,suchaspassivepriorityandactivepriority.Andthencomparethesetwomethods,selectactiveprioritycontrolasmycontrolstrategy.Moreover,aimingtolimitationofsimulationtechnologies,thispaperpresentsaplatformoftrafficsimulationforlarge—scaleroadnetwork.(2)Underheadway-basedbusopera
