5、thodology,constructivistlearningandComputerAssistedLanguageLearning.AbstractIngeneral,eclecticisminlanguageteachingholdsthatalthoughnosinglelanguageteachingmethodmanagestomeetalltheteachingandlearningneeds,manymethodshavevaluableinsightsthatshouldbedrawnon.Butithasbeencriticizedforitslackofpri
6、nciples.Thusprincipledeclecticismandteachingbyprincipleshavebeenpursued.ThisstudyinvestigatedtheattitudesandperceptionsoftheCollegeEnglishteachersinChinatowardseclecticismandprincipledeclecticismintheirteachingintheintensiveEnglishlanguageprogram,andthemethodsorapproachesandteachingtechniquest
7、heyemploy;and,throughacasestudy,itprobedwhethertherealteachingpracticeofprincipledeclecticismwasaseclecticandprincipledastheproponentsdescribedatthetheoreticallevel.Afteranalyzingthequestionnairefrom155teachersand51students,a12-weekclas
