3、nslationmorestandard.InChapter3,itintroducestechniqueswhichcanbeappliedintranslatingnewloanwords,namely:transliteration,freetranslation,partialtone,transliterationandparaphrase,andparticipationofforeignwords.Thestudyofthesethreeaspectsaimstostandardizethetranslation
4、ofloanwords,accordinglytopromotethedevelopmentofChineselanguage.Keywords:loanwords,principle,translationIntroduction:Withthedevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,therearemoreandmorecultureexchangesbetweendifferentnations,especiallylanguagemergence.Languageisthecarrierof
5、culture,andvocabularyisthemostactivepartoflanguage,soborrowingwordsisaninevitablelinguisticphenomenonincommunicationbetweendifferentcultures.Loanwords,alsocalledforeignwords,orborrowedwords,haveexistedinChineseforalongtime.InChinesetherearealargenumberofloanwordsbor
6、rowedfromEnglish,whichconcernalmostanyfieldofthesociallife.Therearemanywaystoclassifyloanwordsfrommanyaspects.Inthisthesis,thewriterclassifiesloanwords,inaccordancewiththefieldsinwhichtheyareused,intofourtypes:1.loanwordsconcerningscienceandtechnology;2.loanwordscon
7、cerningliterature,sportsandarts;3.loanwordsconcerningpolitiesandeconomy;4.loanwordsconcerningpeople’sdailylife.LoanwordshavegreatlyenrichesChinesevocabulary,promotingthedevelopmentofChineselanguage.TheyalsoprovidednativespeakersofChineselanguagewithnewinformationand
8、broadenedtheirvision.LoanwordsareintroducedintoChinesefromforeignlanguages.Duringtheprocessofthisintroduction,translationistheonlychannel.
