4、copeofresearchofthisthesis.ChapterTwoistheliteraturereview.SectionOneandSectionTwopresenttheideasandtheoriesofthesetwoschoolsrespectively.SectionThreeistheauthor’sopinion.Itexaminesthetheoriesoftherepresentativesofdomesticationschool,andrevealsthelimitationofthisschool.Itanalys

5、esthemostinfluentialtranslationtheoryinChina—functionalequivalence,andpointsoutthatbecauseoftheradicaldifferencesacrossculturesandtheinseparablerelationshipbetweenlanguageandculture,functionalequivalenceishardlyachievable,so,thisschool,althoughdominantinthefieldoftranslation,do
