4、toVocabularyLearning143.3.1ReadingtheContext143.3.2BuildingaCommunicativeSetting15Conclusion17Bibliography1819内容提要词汇是语言的三大要素之一，在语言教学中起着重要作用，英国语言学家威尔斯金曾说过:“没有语法，人们表达的事物寥寥无几而没有词汇，人们则无法表达任何事物。”词汇教学是初中英语教学之本，要遵循语言教学原则，采用不同的教学方法，使学生对词汇学习到达事半功倍的效果，实现学以致用的目的。英语教学离不开词汇教学。词汇是语言的建筑材料，没有词汇就没有语言。中

5、学生不掌握大量的词汇，就不能进行语言交际活动。因而，词汇教学的核心任务是：帮助学生掌握尽可能多的词汇。本论文所要研究探索的问题是如何有效的提高初中阶段学生英语词汇学习。本文共分为三部分。第一部介绍了英语词汇日渐加强的重要地位，讨论词汇学习策略的意义、词汇教学的重要性，以及初中生学习英语对词汇量的要求。第二部分介绍初中阶段词汇学习存在的问题，学生缺乏学习动机，而且运用无效的学习方法；在教学过程中老师运用传统的教学方法，孤立的翻译词汇，没有结合发音来记忆单词。第三部分提出有效的教学方法与策略，主要是通过构词法和记忆法来提高词汇教学。综上所述，词汇策略教学的知识传授成效要
