3、ergybetentsinthefieldsoforganisationalperformance,teamunity.Researchonthecontributionofpeoplemanagementtoorganisationalperformanceoutessuchasproductivityandprofitabilityhasbeenrelatedtoaclimateofsatisfactionintheportanceoftheclimateisthatittranscendsindividualsatisfactionandhencehasagreaterimpacton
4、quantifiableoutes.Inthefieldofleadershipanehasbeensuggested(Horner,1997;DrathandPalus,1994)eanings,understandingsandroles,ratherthanasetoftraits,stylesorbehavioursutualunderstandingandprocessesofinteractionanagementandoveringthebarriersto“teamonthstoexplorethedevelopmentofahighperformanceteam(HPT).
5、TheresearchusedbothquantitativeandqualitativemeasuresofanHPTandcontrolgroupsinthesameenvironment.TheHPTdevelopmentincorporatedinterventionsbyanexternalconsultanttobuildup“soft”skillssuchasgivingfeedback,munications,problemsolvingandobjectivesetting.TheresultsofthisstudyparetheperformanceoftheHPTtoo
