4、tseemedthatthetraditionalspeakingmethodmostlow-levellearnersusedinspeakingpracticewasnoteffective.Acarefulanalysisshowedthattheirproblemsinspeakingwerecausedbythelackofmotivation,accumulationofvocabulary,practiceandstandardpronunciation.Tosolvethisproblem,afour-weekexperimentfollowedPPPmodelwa

5、sdesignedandcarriedoutwithtwogroupsofvocationalschoolstudents.AllstudentsinthisprojectwereseniortwostudentsinthevocationalschoolinBeijingandtheirmajoriscomputer.StudentsinClass1comprisedtheTargetGroupandweretaughtspeakingbyPPPmodel.WhilethestudentsinClass2wereservedastheControlGroupandcontinue

6、dtobeusethetraditionalmethod.  Arangeofresearchmethodswereemployedintheproject,whichwerepre-testandpost-testscores,theresearcher’sreflectionnotes,andthestudentinterview,sothatmoreobjectiveandcomprehensiveresearchresultcanberecordedthroughouttheimplementationperiod.  2.ProblemIdentificationandA
