2、michigh-qualityproductstotheircustomersinatimelymanner.Theimportanceofintegratingproductdesignandprocessdesigntoachieveadesignforproductionsystemcannotbeoveremphasized.However,evenonceadesignisfinalized,manufacturingindustriesmustbewillingtoaccommodatetheircustomersbyallowin

3、glast-minuteengineering-designchangeswithoutaffectingshippingschedulesoralteringproductquality.MostU.S.-basedmanufacturingcompanieslooktowardCAD/CAMandCIMtoprovidethisflexibilityintheirmanufacturingsystem.Today，theuseofcomputersinmanufacturingiscommon.Manufacturingsystemareb
