4、ndgoalsareagreedupon. Physicaltherapyisperformedbyaphysicaltherapist(PT)orphysiotherapist,andsometimesservicesareprovidedbyaphysicaltherapistassistant(PTA)actingundertheirdirection.Physicaltherapistsandoccupationaltherapistsoftenworktogetherinconjunctiontoprovidetreatmentforpatients.Insom
5、ecases,physicalrehabilitationtechniciansmayprovidephysiotherapyservices.PTsarehealthcareprofessionalswhodiagnoseandtreatindividualsofallages,fromnewbornstotheveryoldest,whohavemedicalproblemsorotherhealth-relatedconditions,illnesses,orinjuriesthatlimittheirabilitiestomoveandperformfunctio
6、nalactivitiesaswellastheywouldlikeintheirdailylives.PTsuseanindividual’shistoryandphysicalexaminationtoarriveatadiagnosisandestablishamanagementplanand,whennecessary,incorporatetheresultsoflaboratoryandimagingstudies.Electrodiagnostic（电诊法的）testing(e.g.,electromyograms（肌动电流图）andnerveconduc
