4、gherinpatientswithneurofibromatosis1and3–13%ofthemwillfinallydevelopintoMalignantPeripheralNerveSheathTumour,usuallyafterlatentperiodsof10–20years.Clinically,thesetumoursareaggressive,locallyinvasive,andhighlymetastatic.Excisionofgiantchestwalltumourleavesadefectthatismadegoodbyreconstruct
5、ionusingeithermusculocutaneousflapswithorwithoutamesh.Wereportthecaseofa24yearoldboywhopresentedatthesurgicaloutpatientclinicwithsevenmonthshistoryofpersistentleftsidedchestpainminimallyrelievedbyanalgesics,fivemonthsofcoughandworseningdyspnoeaandthreemonthshistoryofanteriorchestswellingin
6、theregionoftheleftsideofthemanubrium.Followingevaluationandinvestigations,thetumourwasexcisedandtheresidualdefectclosedwithmethylmetacrylatesandwichedbetweentwoprolenemeshesandoverlaidwithbothPectolralisMajormuscles.ThehistologyoftheexcisedmasswasreportedasMalignantPeripheralNerveSheathTum
