1、NAARMOFORMSRevised19July2002NORTHAMERICANRVSMMINIMUMMONITORINGREQUIREMENTS:EFFECTIVEASOF:17JULY20021.INITIALMONITORING.AlloperatorsthatoperateorintendtooperateinNorthAmericanairspacewhereRVSMisappliedarerequiredtoparticipateintheRVSMmonitoringprogram.Theattachedchartofmonitoringrequire

2、mentsestablishesrequirementsforinitialmonitoringassociatedwiththeRVSMapprovalprocess.IntheirapplicationtotheappropriateStateauthorityforRVSMapproval,operatorsmustshowaplanformeetingtheapplicableinitialmonitoringrequirements.2.AIRCRAFTSTATUSFORMONITORING.Aircraftengineeringworkthatisreq

3、uiredfortheaircrafttoreceiveRVSMairworthinessapprovalmustbecompletedpriortotheaircraftbeingmonitored.AnyexceptiontothisrulewillbecoordinatedwiththeStateauthority.3.FOLLOW-ONMONITORING.Monitoringisanon-goingprogramthatwillcontinueafterNorthAmericanRVSMimplementation.TheNorthAmericanAppr

4、ovalsRegistryandMonitoringOrganization(NAARMO)iscurrentlyinvolvedinthedevelopmentoflong-termRVSMmonitoringrequirementswhichmayaffectfleetsthathavealreadycompletedtheirinitialmonitoring;however,therearenolong-termmonitoringrequirementsofficiallyestablishedatthistime.4.MONITORINGOFAIRFRA

5、MESTHATARERVSMCOMPLIANTONDELIVERY.IfanoperatoraddsnewRVSMcompliantairframesofatypeforwhichithasalreadycompletedmonitoringrequirementsinaccordancewiththeattachedchart,thenewairframesarenotrequiredtobemonitored-exceptastargetedatalaterdateinthefollow-onmonitoringprogram.IfanoperatoraddsR

6、VSMcompliantairframesofanaircrafttypeforwhichithasNOTpreviouslyreceivedRVSMoperationalapproval,thentheoperatorshouldcompletemonitoringinaccordancewiththeattachedchart.5.APPLICABILITYOFMONITORINGFROMOTHERREGIONS.MonitoringdataobtainedinconjunctionwithRVSMmonitoringprogramsfromotherregio

7、nsmayqualifytobeusedtomeetNorthAmericanmonitoringrequirements.TheNAARMOhasaccesstomonitoringdatafromotherregionsandwillinformStatesandoperatorsconcerningsatisfactionofNorthAmericanmonitoringrequirementswithsuchdata.6.UPDATEOFMONITORINGREQUIREMENTSCHARTANDWEBSITE.Assignificantdataisob
