3、helialovariancarcinoma.METHODS:Archivalovarianepithelialcarcinoma(n=38),normalovarianissues（n=18）andbenignovariantumor(n=20)weredetectedforP16andP27expressionsbyimmunohistochemistrystreptavidinperoxidasestaining(SPmethod).RESULTS:ThepositiveratesofP16expressioninovarianepithelialcarc
4、inoma,benignovariantumorandnormaltissueswere39%,70%and83%respectivelyandthepositiveratesofP27expressioninovarianepithelialcarcinoma,benignovariantumorandnormaltissueswere32%，65%and78%respectively.TheP16andP27expressionsinovarianepithelialcarcinomawereobviouslylowerthanthoseinbenignov
5、ariantumorandinnormaltissues.Inhistologicalgradesofovarianepithelialcarcinoma,theratesofhighP16andP27proteinexpressionsinwelldifferentiatedsamplesweresignificantlyhigherthanthoseinmoderatelydifferentiatedsamplesandpoorlydifferentiatedsamples(P<0.01).TheratesofhighP16andP27proteinexpr
6、essionsinearlyclinicalstageofovarianepithelialcarcinomasweresignificantlyhigherthanthoseinlateclinicalstage(P<0.01).TheratesofhighP16andP27proteinexpressionsinovarianepithelialcarcinomaswithlymphnodemetastasisweresignificantlylowerthanthosewithoutlymphnodemetastasis(P<0.01).CONCLUSIO
7、N:TheexpressionsofP16andP27proteinarecorrelatedtothehistologicaldegreeofcancercells,clinicalphaseofthepatientsandlymphnodemetastasis.ThedetectionofP16andP27proteinexpressionsmaybeavaluablemarkerforthetumormalignantbehaviorandtheprognosisofthepatientswithovarianepithelialcarcinoma.【Ke
