5、d(1933)discov-Aidedbywartimedevelopmentsinhigh-frequencyeredthatthesesuperconductorswereperfectlydiamag-technology,Pippardwasabletomakeveryprecisemea-netic(the``Meissnereffect'')aswellasperfectlysurementsoflLtocomparewithEq.(2),usingparam-conducting.Theseremarkablepropertieswereneatlyetersdetermine
