2、CoordinationCommitteeforBiodiversityConservation(NCCBC)hasbeenformedunderthechairmanshipofHonourablevice-chairmanoftheNationalPlanningCommissionwith22othermembers.UnderthisNCCBCfollowingcommitteesrelatedtothebiodiversityconservationdoexist.·NationalBiodiversitySteer

3、ingCommittee(NBSC)underthechairmanshipofthesecretaryoftheMinistryofForestsandSoilConservation.·NationalAgro-biodiversitySteeringCommittee(NABSC)underthechairmanshipofthesecretaryoftheMinistryofAgricultureandCooperatives.Thiscommitteedealswithcultivated/domesticatedc

4、roprelatedbiodiversity.·BiodiversityRegistrationCoordinationCommittee(BRCC)underthecoordinationoftheHonourablemember(Agriculture)oftheNationalPlanningCommission.HisMajesty'sGovernmentofNepalhasdesignatedMinistryofForestsandSoilConservationasthefocalpointfortheCBD.To

5、fulfillNepal’sobligationtotheConventiononBiologicalDiversity,theMinistryofForestsandSoilConservationhasbeenendeavouringthroughdevelopmentofpolicies,formulationofactsandregulationsandtheirrevisions,andprograms.Inthisconnection,NationalBiodiversityStrategyandabillon“A

6、ccesstoGeneticResourcesandBenefitSharing’havepeenpreparedandputintheprocessfortheapprovalofthegovernment.Inadditiontothese,draftsBillsonImplementationoftheCITES,andPlantResourcesConservation,whicharealsorelatedtoconservationofbiodiversity,havebeenfinalizedandforward
