5、nfluenceofTheGreatDepressiononMillerAlthoughnoneofMiller'stheaterworkisspecificallyautobiographical,ithasbeenstronglyinfluencedbyhisparticularlifeexperiences.AnearlyinfluentialeventwastheGreatDepressionofthe1930sMillertoldtheNewYorkTimes:“It[theDepression]madeyouwanttosearchforul
