4、tment,Power150IntroductionSupplychainmanagement(SCM)hasreceivedmuchattentionfrombothpractitionersandacademicians.SCMisthesystematic,strategiccoordinationoftraditionalbusinessfunctionswithinaparticularcompanyandacrossthebusinessesinthesupplychaintoimprovethe2
5、0long-termperformanceofthecompaniesandthesupplychainas[1]awhole(Mentzer,2001).Supplychainintegration(SCI)hasbeenadvocatedasthekeytocreatevalueinSCM(Horvath,2001)[2].Itintegratestherelationships,activities,functions,processes,andlocationsofthechannelmembersin
6、thesupplychain.VariouspreviousstudiesconfirmedthatSCIimprovessupplychainperformance,operationalandfinancialperformanceofthefirms25withinthesupplychain(e.g.Armistead&Mapes,1993;Frohlich&Westbrook,2001;Johnson,1999;Narasimhan&Jayaram,1998;Stank,Kel
7、ler&Closs,2001)[3-7].Inter-organizationalrelationships,suchasrelationshipimportance(RI),trust,relationshipcommitment(RC),power,etc.,playacrucialroleforthecompaniesinachievingSCIgoals,;withoutafoundationofeffectivesupplychainorganizationalrelationships,an
